Do you love variety and enjoy exploring a new ski area every day? Then you have come to the right place at Edelmanns. The central location near Innsbruck makes it the ideal “start house” for adventures on the slopes, from relaxed to daring. Practice lift or black run? Glacier ice, deep snow or firn? For all the preferences of skiers and snowboarders, there is the perfect pad nearby.
Our local mountain Rosskogel is smiling through the window even during breakfast. It is just a 5-minute drive between the hotel and the valley station of the popular family ski area on Rangger Köpfl. The child-friendly ski area Muttereralm with its beautiful forest runs and the Olympiaregion Seefeld with its varied slopes can be reached in a few minutes. While intermediate and advanced skiers let off steam in the Rosshütte and Gschwandtkopf ski areas, the little ones learn through play at the Birkenlift.
In two other Olympic ski areas, the ski boot buckles click already after a 15-minute drive: guaranteed snow at Axamer Lizum (also known as the “white roof”) and Innsbruck's local mountain Patscherkofel with its distinctive round crest have everything young and old, piste freaks and freestylers want. A little further to the south-east is the small, natural Glungezer ski area with its 15 km long valley run.
You only need 25 minutes to Kühtai, Austria's highest ski resort at over 2,000 m above sea level. The offer inspires families, freeriders and ski tourers alike. The highlight for freestylers is the KPark with Austria's only superpipe, on which the freestyle athletes of the ÖSV team also train regularly.
The year-round ski area Stubai Glacier, incidentally the largest glacier ski area in Austria, can be reached in just under 40 minutes. A fascinating ice grotto is hidden under the ski slopes, which extend to a breathtaking 3,200 m.
Adventure seekers can visit on a tour. Halfway to the glacier is the familiar and varied ski center SCHLICK 2000 (approx. 20 minutes).
Edelmann's tip for romantic night skiing and unforgettable toboggan evenings: Visit the Bergeralm ski arena in the Wipptal south of Innsbruck. Quiet and magical by day, but also in the evening, when one of the most beautiful toboggan runs in the region and the valley run are brightly lit through the mountains at night.

The local ski area on the Nordkette is a must for experienced skiers. Locals also earn their first spurs here, according to the motto "If you can make it there, you will make it anywhere". Take the futuristic Hungerburgbahn and Seegrubenbahn up to 1,900 m above sea level and enjoy the sensational view.
After a long day of skiing, you can stow your equipment quickly and safely in our ski room. We are happy to spoil you with a well-deserved drink and small dishes in the chic Edelmanns house bar and on the heated sun terrace. For optimal regeneration, treat yourself to a sauna and enjoy the relaxing living atmosphere in your room. That gives you energy for the next slope adventure!
